Here is another gorgeous gown from Gone with the Wind. There are so many to chose from, but I do like the simplicity of this one. I love the shirred bodice and huge skirt. The wonderful taffeta just has a great holiday feel, and the color is just so Scarlett.
Certainly a gown to be remembered by Ashley as he goes back to war.
"When the War's over!" Scarlett whispers as she watches him leave, regretting the promise she made to look after Melanie.
This is the last flicker we see of young Scarlett before the war and povery does things to her, thus it has a special place in any "Windie's" heart.
