Star Wars Ep 2
"You're not all powerful Annie" Padme whispers as she tries to comfort Anakin after the death of his mother. Padme's gentle spirit is reflected in this garment native to the terrain of the desert planet Tatooine, Home of the Lars family. The poncho is a rich royal blue is heavily embroidered in shades of orange, yellow and white. The center focus is of a large sunburst, and the arms reflect flames and other native inspired motifs. The undergown is made of a pale teal crinkle gauze-Light airy and feminine.
Embroidery and painting techniques were implimented to create my version of this unique ensemble.
