A
wedding in secret in a galaxy far, far away. However, this gown is nothing
that should be hidden away. Inspired from the designs of the Edwardian
period-The original was made from an antique battenburg bedspread and one
of a kind laces. The bridal cap is heavily encrusted with ecru pearls and
trails into a lovely french lace veil.
The
gown is made of two pieces, a princess seam gown with english net overlay,
and a battenburg coat with double sleeves and lengthy train.
This is a difficult gown to replicate due to the one of a kind materials used in the original. I have made two versions, each slightly different.
