Arwen's Farewell Gown
Lord of the Rings
This is the first LOTR gown I have reproduced. This was made as a special order for a friend, and the proper fabric fell in my lap which allowed me to make two. I had to dye it the lovely lavender/blue. The bodice is accented in silver scrolls, and silver knott buttons. The bell type sleeves open to reveal a tigher plum undersleeve. The metallic sash was hand painted to resemble the original, and I did include a circlet for the hair.
